The TCC Intern Experience: Jiongcheng Lou
Intern at United Nations Federal Credit Union
My name is Jiongcheng Lou. I was born and raised in Shanghai, and moved to New York in 2012. New York City's diversity, especially the food, amazed me when I first arrived here. When I grow up, I want to be an aerospace engineer; I have read tons of books about planes and watched all sixteen seasons of "Air Crash Investigation." My work at the United Nations Federal Credit Union has been more interesting than what I expected. Last week, I worked with my colleagues to help save the company more than $50,000! My bosses are wonderful. Friendly and patient, they encourage me every time I face a challenge, and even generously offer me college advice. By the end of the summer, I wish to be more educated about finance because money management is an important skills to have in my life. I also wish to expand my network. This summer is about to become one of the most unforgettable summers I'll ever have.
